Cathedral is a Handmade Moroccan Limestone flagstones are premium natural stone tiles distinguished by their “ecclesiastical” aesthetic, designed to mimic the worn, historic floors found in ancient cathedrals and monasteries.A sophisticated blend of soft neutral tones, primarily creamy vanilla, oatmeal, and light grey. Some variations include subtle coral shades, light golden browns, and delicate grey veins. These tiles are rich in natural character, often featuring visible white-cream shells, fossils, and mineral veins. The surface typically has small pits and natural “holes” that contribute to an authentic, antique appearance. Hand-Finished Edges: To achieve a “centuries-old” look, the edges are hand-dressed or hand-cut and then tumbled. This process rounds the corners and softens the riven relief to create a timeworn, rustic appeal.

Technical Properties
Hand-Crafted Process: Sourced from Moroccan mountain quarries, large blocks are extracted and then hand-worked by stonemasons. The surface is often lightly brushed or honed to provide a textured yet smooth “river wash” feel.
Durability: Moroccan limestone is exceptionally hard-wearing and stain-resistant once sealed, making it suitable for high-traffic areas.
Versatility: Most variants are calibrated (typically to ~20mm or 22mm thickness) for easier installation. They are compatible with underfloor heating systems, which the stone naturally radiates efficiently.
Common Applications
Interior: Ideal for kitchens, hallways, conservatories, and bathroom floors/walls.
Exterior: Used for patios, courtyard features, and pool surrounds due to their natural slip-resistance.
Heritage Style: Frequently selected for barn conversions and traditional properties to add immediate maturity and historic depth.
